I've installed all my latest drivers for everything imaginable on my system. Here's what I've done: reinstalled a couple times, used the beta and the 1.1 patch, manually reinstalled (copying over all the pak files under the version 1.0 game, the beta, and the 1.1 patched version). From the main menu I can reload and the sound will come back, but every time I get to the loading screen I get kicked back to the main menu with no sound. About a second later, I get kicked out to the main menu, and my sound has crapped. Also, it is worth to check out for updates - most of todays games have the automatic patches installation system on startup if internet connection is available.

Here's the problem: At the end of the Recycling 2 level I hit the exit button and I go to the Monorail loading screen. So, I thought maybe some fellow Arsians might be able to help with all their infinite wisdom. Well, I've spent a while searching the net, the Ars forums, and yes, I've researched the problem at (I'm still getting the automated tech support replies x3).
